"The hosts are charming and very helpful. We felt most welcome. The stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast superb. There was evidence by way of ash and ends caught in the rail of the sliding doors of the bedroom leading out to the pool, that someone had smoked in the room which was unfortunate."

"The lodge is well located in the Hillcrest area, close to the Main Road with it's shops and restaurants. Bev the hostess was very welcoming and seemed prepared to go out of her way to assist her guests. The breakfast in the morning was varied and good. The room, while on the small side, was adequately furnished with a comfortable bed. There were a number of small items which detracted from my stay. " We loved the garden and it was handy for what we wanted. The pool was not cleaned and there were no sunbeds with cushions or an umbrella. The room was alright and the kitchen, shared, ok. The breakfast was very limited ,cereal ,yogurt and make your own toast and fruit juice. The whole place needs an update and the outside cushions were covered in cat hair."

"Hi place is clean however they need to have room fragrance our room had cigarette fume, obviously our sense of cigarette smell is very active because we don't smoke, smoked person was in the room not smoking in there. Kettle tray only has 1glass and 1 cracked and chipped mug, yet is 2people sharing NO beverage sachets so what's the point of having the Kettle. New linen is needed so as the towels. No floor matts bedroom and bathroom yet it's tiles. They can make use of the fabric softener ,...

"Lovely old style house and grounds - gated. Good overnight stay. Very friendly owner and staff with travel advice. Safe. Renovation works going on but luckily did not effect our 1 night stay. "
