The home is 200 years old, in a beautiful part of Kentucky on a working farm. Just staying in a home on a farm with that depth of history was wonderful. The owner is just across the street and was wonderfully helpful. We received a call on arrival day to make sure we had the right directions, and we also received a follow up call after a day just to make sure everything was OK. This is a working farm, so if you don't like the sound of animals it may not be for you. We loved hearing the sheep in the morning and seeing the work around the farm. The home was as described with everything me and my daughter needed for our stay - comfy beds, adequate kitchen supplies, clean, comfortable furnishings. Inside was spotless (outside a few cobwebs, but, again, this is a working farm). It is a bit of a drive to the closest grocery store, as this is a rural area, so stop on your way in. The location was perfect for us as we travelled to Flemingsburg, Morehead, and Lexington. Highly recommend.
