Cabin overlooking Pilot Mountain
Absolutely breathtaking view! My wife & I, her 4 brothers & sisters and their spouses had a wonderful time in this quaint, well-finished off, very nicely equipped log Cabin. We spent 4 nights there, had plenty of room for everyone, and we able to all eat together because of the large Dining area. Access to via the Parkway was excellent, and the hiking we did was only about 30 minutes away - incredible views on the hikes too! Very large deck with nice seating, and again - a spectacular view!!... the view directly below from the hot tub was just as good too! I can't say enough of how good the Owner was to work with, and what an enjoyable time he helped us all to have in his home! I would highly, highly recommend this Cabin to everyone!

90th Birthday Party
The cabin was very spacious with all the amenities as expected. The view was spectacular! We there only three nights but many more would have been even better. We hiked Pilot Mountain and visited Mt. Airy during the Autumn Festival. There was plenty to do and see. We would highly recommend this property to others.

Beautiful property. Enjoyed walking the loop in the neighborhood. Loved the deck. Enjoyed watching the storms roll by. Nice wineries in the area. Blue Grass Music Museum, Mayberry Squad Car Tour, Olde Mill Golf. Lots to do. Jim was a great host. Resort lots to do. Jim was a great host.

Wonderful mountain home
Our third year here with friends for some golf at Primland and time together. The back porch is amazing and we took full advantage of the spectacular views and weather. We love it! Thanks again Jim for sharing your home!

Fabulous house
We had our annual family vacation here. It was 9 of us. The views were spectacular. We spent most of the time on the large deck. Each family had their own living space. I would recommend this for a large group. The children had space to play in the yard. Saw many resident deer. Great accomodations.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and plenty of room for everyone. There were 8 ladies that stayed for our annual girls weekend. We stayed out on the deck most of the time. The view was so peaceful. The home is equipped with all the necessities you need and just felt like home. The owner communication was great. Any time I needed to reach out to him I received a quick response.

Absolutely gorgeous!
This place is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive especially when the A/C wasn't working because the pipe apparently was blocked and the condensation pan filled up. Fortunately we were able to use the shop vac that was there and empty it. (Probably should get that checked out). Unbelievable views and so quiet. I think we have found a place to come back to.

I have rented a lot of VBRO properties and I will have to say this is one of the best ones I have rented. Property was clean, house booklet contained information that answered all our questions, and the bedrooms were spacious. An added plus was the binoculars and telescope to look at moon and sun.

Our second trip
My adult children and grandchildren joined my husband and I for 3 nights for a holiday trip. This was our second visit to this beautiful cabin and it was definitely enjoyed by everyone. The view is spectacular at this house and very easy to get to compared to so many other places we have stayed in the mountains. Everything about about this house is comfortable and cozy and just feels like home. Kitchen is well equipped and the nice quality linens and comfortable beds are such an added bonus. We have one year old and two year old grandsons and the stairs are not ideal for this age but we knew the house and brought baby gates so that is my only tip if you are traveling with littles. Jim is great and responds quickly to any messages. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Fall Getaway
This property was absolutely beautiful! We stayed in late October and the colors on the trees were amazing. The weather was perfect. We most enjoyed sitting out on the porch and just taking in the beauty. The beds were very comfortable. We totally enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this property. What truly sets this cabin apart is its breathtaking view. From the large windows and spacious deck, we enjoyed you panoramic views of rolling hills and Pilot Mountain. We spent lots of time enjoying the deck and view that left in awe. The cabin itself offered all the modern amenities one would expect, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. With a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a cozy living area complete with a fireplace, we had everything we needed to relax and unwind. We are already planning our trip back here next year.

Wonderful cabin and location
