Grand View but has Seen Better Days
This property has seen better days. The view to the Mountain and the large balcony are fantastic, however as I was travelling with two octogenarians we noted a number of issues including: floor rugs with holes and tears creating trip hazards; unwieldy hot water tap sets; chipped and stained crockery; and significantly the external steel staircase was not disclosed in the photo.

Very happy - Cozy, warm, inviting with great views, easy street access so close to everything and a very nice welcome. Will come back next I'm in Tassie/ Hobart with more friends and do it all again x

Great Location
Our host was great; easy to contact and very obliging with our requests. It's an old, historic property and as such doesn't have little things like somewhere to put your shampoo and soap when you're showering, but on the other hand it was very spacious and had a very effective heater (essential in Hobart!).

Long weekend in Hobart
3 bedroom unit as part of a larger house . Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cooking items if needed. Bathroom was fine. Heating for main areas fabulous . None in bathroom. View of the mountain and double glazed windows was fantastic Parking availability much appreciated Stairs to get to unit, may be difficult for some, but fine for most people

Stunning view quirky place
Great stay with amazing mountain views. Close to everything but with chooks and wallabies in the back yard. Hill street south Hobart is just around the corner and also a great cafe.

Perfectly positioned.
Lovely old mansion divided into units. Its showing the passage of time but still a stately old girl. Our unit was warm and inviting, double glazing ensured the cold stayed out and the aspect was perfect for trapping the light and heat. We really enjoyed our stay , it was the perfect jumping off point for exploring. Not for those wanting an upmarket experience but perfect if you want to feel immersed in Hobart as it was.

Our visit to Tazmania
We enjoyed our short stay in Hobart, and would try and get this place again. John and Jason were responsive and helpful in getting us into the apartment and it had everything we needed for a delightful stay. we were only sorry we only spent 3 nights, we should have been there at least 3 more! Thank you for a lovely clean apartment, that more than met our needs.

Happy Tennis Tournament
This lovely apartment provided us with the comfort of home while we were staying in Hobart for the week. The building has been a mansion and now has retained its old-world charm with a fantastic view. Thank you Jason & John for being accommodating to our needs. We had a ball!!

Not up to scratch for a Premier host title
This is apartment number 4. While yes parts of the apartment were clean, I would not consider it a clean property when there are thick cobwebs around one of the beds and on various pieces of furniture. Multiple rugs are in poor condition and have big stain marks. The property had an old, dusty smell and due to windows that didn’t open or were impossible to open, you cannot air it out. One of the “bedrooms “ only had sheer curtains which is not conducive for sleeping. I am not sure how this property can be given a premier host title compared to other properties I’ve stayed at. I have never had an issue before with various other properties we’ve stayed at. We basically took our bags in then turned around and left which is something we have never done before. The host kindly refunded our money which we greatly appreciate. There is no doubt the view from the veranda was beautiful. They also kindly provide milk and breakfast cereals for those that stay. The process for getting the keys was easy and fast. Communication was good. I’m sorry to leave this review given that they refunded us, but I base my bookings on reviews and premier host ranking and I believe it fell well short compared to all of my other experiences.

Great family stay
We stayed a few days with our three children. The apartment is in a good location with beautiful views from all rooms. Our children loved the garden with the chickens. The living room and deck are spacious. The gas heater worked well.

We had a really nice stay at this property. Very spacious, plenty of room. It had all the facilities we needed. Lovely warm heater in the lounge and a beautiful veranda with afternoon sun and a view of the mountains. 15-20mins to walk to town, we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Hobart experience
Absolutely loved our stay here. The place is super convenient and the view of the Mt is pretty special. Great rooms, has all the mod cons. Awesome that we had a light breakfast for our first morning. Easy communication with owners. Highly recommend.

Peace and tranquility close to everything
Perfect location. Comfortable clean environment. Everything I needed and more. Great kitchen. Comfortable sunny living area with a great view of the mountain. Would highly recommend if you need to unwind or as a base for checking out Hobart and surrounds.

Parking is not that great if you have a larger vehicle. The bathroom door did not close. The 3rd bed is a futon bed and out in an open enclosed verandah with no privacy and no blinds so very light. We made the best of our 3 night stay but apartment 4 needs some TLC.

This property is not up to standard. The parking was limited. The laundry facilities were Iinadequate and untidy. No sceens on windows or doors No fans or airconditioners.
