"This property was exactly as listed. It had plenty of room for a big family meal, wonderful views of the lake, lots of beds and extra bedding, fully stocked kitchen, it was perfect for our needs. It is right off the interstate but traffic noise didn't bother us. The host was very responsive. My family would like to go back again next year."

"We had a perfect vacation. The house was so cute. Very clean. Nice decor. And loved the Ms Pac-Man game!! They had snacks and everything provided that we would need ( like laundry pods, dryer sheets, dish soap.). We would definitely stay here again!! The view of the lake was amazing!! The deck was so relaxing. Definitely A+ Vrbo stay."

"Extremely quiet cabin worked well for me while I was in the area. Know that you will drive down 2 miles of unpaved gravel road to reach the property entrance from the highway. Not a big deal, but did catch me by surprise. The light bedding & flat pillows could use a bit of an upgrade."

"This property was super cute and functional. Nice layout of kitchen and living room combo. 2 bedrooms and a laundry room. We stayed 6days and 5 nights. The location was central to Checotah. B units approached from alleyway. It is located a half block from a Main Street. It is in a quiet neighborhood. Very nice unit. We will stay with Richard on our next family visit also."

"The property was a short walk to a sandy beach. The swimming area was a great area for families with small children, as the water was shallow with no sudden drop offs. We swam, kayaked, and the kids loved playing in the sand. The house was very cute and clean. Check in was easy and we had plenty of room. The backyard patio and fire pit provided a beautiful view of the sunset over the lake."

We have stayed at alot of places and this one did not live up to what i paid for it. The house was dirty i couldnt tell u the last time it was dusted. It smelled of old moth balls. "We really enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful area. There were only a couple of minor things that we would have preferred been different. 1) no water pressure in kitchen sink; 2) the double-size mattress has seen better days; 3) the sustain peddle on the piano doesn't work. I was thrilled when I saw that there was a piano, but it wasn't in working condition; 4) it would be nice if the front porch steps had a hand rail. But overall, very pleasant stay."

"Our stay at the Ruby Cottage was amazing!! The view and the seclusion alone was worth it! We enjoyed every bit of it from all the selections of games, fishing, and kayaking. The owner had thought of everything possible that may be needed or forgotten. Plus it’s all labeled!!! This is by far our favorite stay yet n already planning for next years stay!! Thank you!"

"The house fit our group perfectly. Just the right number of beds and space to accommodate everyone. The large back yard and lake front were perfect for all sorts of activities.
