"The house and property are gorgeously perched atop a dune on the shores of Lake Michigan. There is more than ample space and the direct access to the beach via several steep flights of stairs is well worth the effort to climb back up. Due to the remote nature of this property, you cannot count on WiFi or cell phones. The WiFi and house phone were out during our entire stay, and the only way to communicate with the property management company was to get into a car a drive out to the main road....

"We lived in North Holland for several years. Back for an event for a family member. The house was well-appointed and tidy. Enough room for three adults, certainly. While to road in front of the house is typically busy in summer, it was peaceful in winter. It was a 7 minute drive to “downtown,” filled with food and shopping options. We enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed here for my son‘s wedding. We rented the place for the week of the wedding loved everything about it. Love that it had all of the necessities that you need was glad that I could bring my fur babies. Eric and Mark were wonderful to deal with. Made us feel very comfortable. "My wife and I were looking for a place within walking distance to downtown Holland for a long weekend, and found this wonderful getaway that is about a 20 minute walk from there. We were also able to walk to Washington Square, which was a neat bonus! The space was immaculate and well furnished, and the owner, who lived downstairs, was extremely friendly and gave us the space we needed. It was just like a hotel suite! Overall, a great experience - we would both highly recommend!"

"Our experience with booking "The Barn" was excellent. The owners were courteous, kind and very professional to interact with. The Barn was clean and very comfortable to stay in. Owners have thought of and supplied most everything you could want during your visit. Keep in mind that you must be able to climb steps to get to The Barn as the main living space is on the second floor and most bedrooms are on the third floor. "

"First, we did not receive the welcome emails prior to 4 pm. We contacted the owner several times and VRBO. When VRBO finally reached him, he pretended to "resend" the emails with the entry code after 4:30. "This older home has been nicely updated and had plenty of room for our family. Close to the lakeshore (5min drive out to holland state park beach). Loved the fire pit and outdoor space. The second bathroom was really only useful for kids as it’s tiny—adults all used the one big shower. kitchen had great space and supplies. We had a great time! Would recommend! "

"Everything about our stay at the Sugar Shack in Saugatuck was incredible! The cabin is nestled among other cabins and glorious fall foliage. The property was spotless and had everything needed to enjoy a quiet and rejuvenating weekend. My kids loved the hot tub after hours of walking in the woods. Todd is professional and a pleasure to correspond with. He reached out to make sure we made it into town, were having a nice time and provided updates for our stay. This truly is a special place!"
