"Pictures are accurate. The kitchen needs a little updating but worked out just fine. Well stocked. If you're planning on staying here in the summer be weary of all the insects from the river. We were not able to use the firepit or the grill because there were too many flies everywhere. The property around the house can use a little cleaning/sprucing up. "

Fun little bars in town if you wish to step out ... had a blast. Ran down to the meat market across the border in IA, and that was a hoot! Very CLEAN and had every thing you need in a kitchen to cook anything. Wonderful host!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Chut’s Landing in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. We loved the layout of the house, the decor, design, and use of space. It was so clean!! "My wife and I found ourselves doing our own thing this year for Thanksgiving this year, so we decided to get away for a few days. I found this little gem, and it was perfect for us. Everything we needed, including kitchen utensils. We even cooked a small Thanksgiving meal . We will definitely be coming back in the summer to enjoy the river, and the ATV trails nearby. "

Maybe the time of the year in the country or not knowing when the unit was occupied last…lots dead flies on the ground & many more in the bead rooms flying around?!?! However the value of the rental for number of people it can sleep is good vs the cost! The hosts were very responsive!"
