"Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! "

"This cute cottage was as advertised. The a/c unit was quiet, which I was grateful for. The dishes and cold water were welcome touches and we enjoyed a nice picnic at the available picnic table. The listing is accurate in terms of traffic noise. It was louder than I had hoped, but I was fairly warned. The big shade trees added some charm, and I could tell the owners care about the place and providing a nice stay. "

"I stayed here for three nights with my elderly mom. The home is lovely and very comfortable, with lovely linens, updated bathrooms, and luxurious beds. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped for anything you might want to prepare. This would be an excellent spot for a family with children. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. "We had a nice stay at this charming historic cottage while my daughter and her friend competed at the annual Millbrook Horse Trials over 4 days. The kitchen had everything needed plus they included some extras in the fridge such as filtered water, ice, coffee, etc. We loved to see the chickens running around too. We hope to return next year and book this same place once we have the dates!"

"The house was perfect for our Hudson Valley excursion with family. Kids loved the arcade games and skylights. We were able to get to Bear Mountain, Mohonk and Hyde Park extremely easily. Excellent walk down to the river and quiet neighborhood. Loved it."

"This condo is located very close to the Garrison train station. It has been designed so that you are never disturbed by the sound of the trains. Really soundproof! There is a beautiful view of West Point across the Hudson River from the balcony and other windows. The kitchen and 2 1/2 bathrooms are modern and well equipped. Matt, the host, has thought of everything when it comes to making his guests feel comfort and st home. The beds were extra comfy and both bedrooms were quite spacious....
