"We stayed from Monday through to Sunday; 2 adults, 12 years old daughter and 2 dogs. We had a thoroughly lovely stay here with quiet surrounds, fresh eggs for breakfast and loads of space for the dogs to run around. We spent a little time initially ensuring the dogs couldn't get out the huge garden because of the sheep and horses that live around you (and who add to the feeling of "being away from it all" ) and they were then free to enjoy their holiday too! We had a lovely relaxing week in November in this impeccably renovated and decorated 200 year old cottage which has original features blended with all the modern comforts you could need including underfloor heating and a cosy stove for evenings around the fire. The cottage itself is set in the rolling County Down hills with glimpses of the Mourne Mountains in the distance on winding walks around the quiet roads. "We thought your cottage really lovely. Very well appointed in every way and very comfortable. Thank you for allowing our dogs inside but not having them upstairs meant that mine slept in the car Fine in summer but would not work in the winter. Also there is only gravel for the dogs to toilet on. Without dogs this cottage is defineitly 5 star. Thank you for letting us enjoy it"
