"This was a perfect property for our families fall break getaway. The space fit the four of us perfectly and we really enjoyed our stay in Crestone. "

"We booked this home as it is posted as being in very close proximity to the Great Sand Dunes. While the VRBO posting indicates the home is 4 minutes from the park, it is actually over an hour drive. We did have a fantastic time. The property was beautiful and clean with the exception of fruit and house flies in the main living area. I would recommend it as a great get away relatively close to the national park but be sure to plan accordingly."

"We had a wonderful experience. Karen is an awesome hostess. The house was perfect for us and well supplied with essentials. We highly recommend this property and will definitely go back. "

"This property was very clean and the view was amazing! The owner is a good communicator. The lay-out of the VRBO worked well for our family of 9 adults. We did not realize that mosquitos are very bad during some of June and some of July every year. We visited the dunes and REALLY enjoyed our time there."

"A large group of my family with multiple children stayed here for my son’s birthday trip to the Dunes. There was plenty of room for everyone. The surrounding property is lovely to go for a walk and explore. Lots of games and activities to keep the kids happy-they even helped feed the cows which they loved! A fairly close drive to the dunes (under 30 minutes). The host lives on the property next door and was incredibly helpful and responsive. "

"We stayed 2 nights to go to The Great Sand Dunes and hike around the area. It’s about an hour drive to the main entrance of Great Sand Dunes. The home was very clean! We were very pleased with the inside, the kitchen was big and shad everything we needed and it had a nice grill as well! The only negative thing we have to say is that the mosquitos in the area are very bad this time of year! They swarmed us right when we got out of the car but the locals said they were even worse the week before...

"We came to hike and visit the sand dunes but the weather didn’t cooperate so we spent a lot of time at the property soaking in the hot tub, relaxing, and just enjoying life. Everything we needed was there, plus extras. Great place in an interesting area. "

"Nice little place close to campus and really close to downtown. Great opportunities to walk dog nearby (no grass in backyard so this was essential). "

"This property is FANTASTIC! Mountain views from every window, showers and giant soaking tubs in both bathrooms in the main house, and 2 additional bedrooms plus a full bathroom in the adjacent studio. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. The property manager was great to work with and very prompt when I did something stupid and needed her help. "My friend and I really enjoyed our stay on this property. The proprietors had a lovely organic garden and were happy to share their produce with us! The interior space was very clean and well appointed, including a lot of color from the Stainglass window and the interesting art. highly recommended"

"We loved staying at our VRBO in Alamosa, Colorado. Beautiful view of Mt. Blanca and other peaks. House amenities included deck with chairs and a grill, living room with futon and kitchen area, large bathroom with full size washer/dryer, separate bedroom with queen bed. Pet friendly (large dog crate provided), as well as a mud room for skis, shoes, jackets, etc. We loved the quiet outside at night. Would book again if we pass through the area."
