"The main house with the pub and restaurant is beautiful. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The lodges are lovely but are up a dirt track that is not brilliant in the bad weather. You cannot leave your car near the lodge either and so walking up and down to the car park and restaurant is a challenge on the mud track and there is no lighting either. The main building does not open until 8:30 am so staying here on business trips is not feasible either. Food was delicious and service excellent. "

"We booked to stay one night for our anniversary down from the north on the day of the first snow in November! Still our day was delightful, the hotel is based in a picturesque village overlooking open countryside. The view was even more idillic with the covering of snow. Our hostess was very welcoming and very helpful all through our stay. The food was superb, we would have loved to stay longer but we had other commitments. We both thoroughly recommend The Manor at Abberley. "

"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room.
