Beautiful Views, quiet home, very nice and communicative owners.
This house is beautiful. Its my second year staying here and I hope to keep going every year I can! The views of the lake and wildlife almost make you want to just stay at home the whole time! Its very close to all the activities you would want to do in hot springs as well. The owners are very quick to respond of you have any qieations. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Indeed, Our Secluded Getaway
We love spending time at Blue Heron and make time for an annual visit. It’s the perfect respite for us. Secluded, yet close to town, as well as attractions. The cabin and fire pit area which overlook the lake are both very picturesque and relaxing. We enjoy viewing the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, geese in the evenings, and deer across the lake in the morning. Bob and Jan are the perfect hosts. They meticulously care for their cabin and do their best to ensure you have a most pleasant stay.

Wonderful Getaway Spot
This was a beautiful anniversary weekend getaway. The cabin was very clean, away from town but close enough you didn't have to travel far if you needed something. We fished, seen deer and other wildlife, used the paddleboat. Highly recommend this destination to anyone.

Absolutely Beautiful
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at Bob and Jan’s cabin. The property is beautiful and we really loved the view right over the lake. The cabin has everything you need and more. We loved sitting out on the patio area and at the dock for fishing and even took the canoe out to explore. Top notch host. We plan on visiting again!

Perfect!
Perfect hosts: Everything was just as advertised. Clean and well-appointed. Perfect location: Wonderful lakefront view. Dock and outdoor seating. Didn't;t swim or kayak but that was available. Perfect access: Secluded and private but not far from everything Hot Springs has to offer. Would highly recommend for any couple.

"MEMORIES ON THE LAKE"
MAGNIFICENT IS THE WORD THAT COMES TO MIND! GREAT LOCATION TO TOWN AND ATTRACTIONS BUT STILL IN THE COUNTRY. LOTS OF WILDLIFE! WE ENJOYED THE OUTSIDE SOUNDS AND WATCHING THE BIRDS, SQUIRRELS, TURTLES, DEERS AND MORE. THE COTTAGE IS SO HOMEY. JAN AND BOB MADE SURE THAT WE HAD EVERYTHING THAT WE NEEDED INCLUDING EGGS, MUFFINS, WATER AND SO MUCH MORE. FIREWOOD WAS SET UP FOR US. THEY WERE AN EXTRA BONUS TO OUR VACATION! ONCE WE GOT THERE, I WAS ABLE TO RELAX AND RELOAD MY BODY WHICH WAS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. THANK YOU, JAN AND BOB! UNTIL WE SEE YOU AGAIN, STAY COOL! MEL AND RON

What a lovely property from top to bottom! The hosts have clearly taken great care to attend to every detail that will make their guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The cabin is an easy drive from Hot Springs and is a delightful respite from the busyness of the city.

Amazing Lake House
My husband and I loved our stay at this special cabin on the lake!! Jan and Bob were gracious hosts and provided so many amenities that made for a comfortable stay, even blueberry muffins and eggs! I sat on the back porch every morning enjoying the beautiful lake views, while my husband headed out in the kayak to do some fishing. It is definitely a secluded and relaxing spot, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was so great we have already made reservations to go back in the fall!

Lovely Lakeside Charming Cabin
The owners have meticulously crafted a charming cabin with everything you need and so many personal touches that make it a special place to stay. While it may look remote, it is actually well within the area’s many activity locations while providing a welcome respite. When we visited, the water pump was found to need replacement and the owners worked hard to get it fixed, ultimately refunding two nights because the problem was major. Nonetheless, together we all collaborated to make the best of it. I would return to fully experience the place again. Do note the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs if you make middle of the night trips as some of us with older bladders do.

Perfect Stay at a Magical Cottage
The stay was a prescription for solitude and peace. The cottage is earthy and grounded to all the invitations for centering, resting, and connecting to Spirit and the elements. Lovely.

Wonderful Hot Springs Stay
Wonderful property located right on Lake Catherine. Cottage was immaculate. Grounds were beautifully landscaped. Well equipped and comfortable. Views were amazing and the location is excellent- close to stores and town but removed from traffic and tourist areas. We loved it!

Perfect cottage for two
This cottage exceeded all our expectations. It has everything you need and more. All the attention to the details and decor are second to none. The views of the lake were amazing. We enjoyed watching the sunsets, sitting by the fire, fishing from the dock, kayaking, and grilling dinners. It’s close to all the attractions the area has to offer. Jan and Bob were easy to communicate with and have done an outstanding job with this rental. We didn’t want to leave!

Best Cottage in Hot Springs
This place was so wonderful. Waking up to the lake view and being able to paddle boat right from the cottage was awesome. The hosts were very nice, and their landscaping is just beautiful. When we're back in the Hot Springs area this will be where we stay. There is also a coffee maker upstairs and downstairs which was an added bonus. Oh and the reading nook was a nice little surprise!
