After working with the property contact (who was very helpful and prompt) to resolve issues gaining access to the community (guards at the gate did not have all names that were listed on the reservation), the house was easy to find and nestled into a private woodsy hillside. It was so nice to have the garage and extra parking, coffee waiting for us, and plenty of space in the large bedrooms to spread out and relax. Appliances worked well, linens were stocked, and we had everything we needed to cook meals in the kitchen.
A few things to note about this property... the deck was filthy and in need of painting/staining. We did not enjoy as much time on the deck as we had planned with such a serene setting backed to woods. The screen door was old and needed repair. The bugs snuck in until we noticed this and kept the sliding door closed after that. The garage and front storm doors are also in need of repair with the springs missing so they swung wide open. The house had been cleaned (we could smell the lemony freshness when we arrived), but not as thoroughly as I'd like. The microwave had food chunks stuck in the inside, flatware in the kitchen drawer had food stuck on some of it, the toilets were obviously not cleaned on the outsides in either bathroom, and the floors had several visible sticky areas in the kitchen and dining area that we cleaned using clorox wipes ourselves. It was also just a bit grimy; light switches for jobs, walls, etc. Also, the dishwasher was full of cleaned and wet dishes that we had to put away. Beware of the wobbly and worn out dining chairs. One had a broken back to it, although we didn't mind since there were only 3 of us and 5 other chairs to use.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Recommend hiring a handy person to make minor repairs to this high potential home and improve the cleaning methods to take this property to the next level.
