Exceptional!
The Lighthouse is perfect in every way! The host went above and beyond to make sure that we had every comfort imaginable, including local bread, syrup, and fresh flowers. The Lighthouse is extremely clean, very well maintained and perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of the area. The bed linens, pillows, hand soaps and towels were exceptional and made for a wonderful nights rest. We highly recommend this outstanding property!

Beautiful place!
We splurged on this rental, and it was quite worth the cost. Such a beautifully appointed home. The bright white furniture in each room of the home gave the place an open and airy feel. The kitchen had everything we needed, including cinnamon bread and pure maple syrup for making delicious french toast. We spent time on the shore and enjoyed the short walk to The Fitzgerald for dinner. Our only suggestion would be to upgrade the one small Direct TV in the home to a larger smart TV. Perhaps a second in the bedroom as well.

Best place I have ever stayed
The place is immaculate. Even the potted plants are perfect. Not a dead leaf or flower...We used the Master Suite and I loved the shower. The bed was perfect. Bonus gift of breakfast makings. The sun room was so relaxing and cozy. Fire pit was great for the evening. Make sure you bring food as there are no stores anywhere. Wish we didn't live so far away. Would love to return. The lighthouse part was a fun addition too.

Loved it!
We really enjoyed our stay at the lighthouse. The location was great. The kids found Yooperlite rocks on the beach nearby. We had everything we needed and the house is beautifully decorated. We would definitely return.

Relaxing weekend
The lighthouse and the property were beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. We loved the sun room and the herd of deer that came right up next to the deck to graze. The town seems relatively empty this time of year and many businesses were closed, but we didn’t mind the quiet and had a very relaxing weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

Family Tradition
This is our third annual trip and we plan on continuing the family tradition. Wonderful space - large and open without losing the feeling of warmth and intimacy. The surrounding area is beautiful, quiet, and travel is easy. We love this place!

Wonderful stay
I took my grandson and his best friend (16 yr olds) to the Lighthouse for a week. We had a wonderful time. The boys went hiking, beach rock hunting, biking, and kayaking. We explored the area totally. The lighthouse was warm and inviting with our needs anticipated and met. I’ve traveled all over the world and think this is one of the best places I have stayed.

Lovely & Quiet UP house
Well-equipped kitchen & comfortable beds in lovely historic home with great views of sunsets on Lake Superior. Very quiet setting in small UP town provides easy access to upper reaches of UP. Helpful books provided by owners assist visitors to plan hikes, activities, and learn about Keweenau Peninsula. Thanks for a great place to stay for our first visit to the Keweenau & UP.

The long weekender
This property was absolutely amazing from location, to the entrance, to the light house light perch, to the cedar decks, to the sun sitting room that has a view of every sunset. This house was comfortable, thought of every amenity and the kitchen dining was gourmet ready. We could not have asked for a better stay the book room and binoculars were a fantastic touch. Breathtaking views and impeccable house!
Pictures did not do this property justice. It has the most relaxing and beautiful views of any VRBO I have ever stayed at. So wonderful in all ways. I was able to relax even though I still had to stay connected to my work.
