"Overall I had a good time at the lake, The details were accurate about the cabin but something's that I wish we knew prior. Dock is only 1.7 to 2 ft deeps. If you don't have tilt you will bottom out which we did every time. extremely windy so fishing wasrough. Also TV is really tiny but it does work. Again just nitpicking but I really good experience not good"

"For our purposes this cabin worked out perfectly. Went up for a weekend with friends, didn’t want to spend a ton of time at the cabin other than Sleeping and cooking with our pontoon with us. Cabin was clean, ice cold AC, and “steaming” hot water. Ken was responsive in the only message I had to send him. Only recommendation is if you have a boat or a pontoon, probably best to pay $5 and launch near the marina, 2 minutes away; the launch on the canal is a bit shallow if you have a longer trailer....

"Great “home base” property for our Houghton Lake adventures. The huge fridge was great for all the wonderful food my family brought, and nice big kitchen to prepare meals in. Loved the Adirondack chairs for sitting by the fire and the fenced in back yard was amazing for my pup! I would add a dust pan for the broom for daily clean up. We brought a lot of dirt in from the backyard and couldn’t find a dust pan. And maybe water access out back for dog water or grill cleanup. "
