Great Location
We had a a great time at Star Mesa as did our dog! Great views from the cabin both inside and outside. It was an extremely cold weekend yet the cabin stayed nice and warm.

Quiet & Picturesque
The view, the views and the view! Perfect. Winter getaway. The husky was able to run around the fenced yard and play in the snow. It was wonderfully quiet and perfect to spend some time with loved ones. I can only imagine the beauty in the summer and fall.

Nice stay for rest and relaxation
This was the perfect place to stay for a few days to get away from the city. While we felt very remote at the cabin, it was nice to be within 30 minutes of a couple of towns that had all the amenities we needed.

Great stay in Howard, CO
We had a great time at this lovely home and property. The views are amazing and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. Neighbor's cows came to visit and a herd of deer were in the yard quite a bit. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Secluded and Beautiful!
We had a wonderful time at Star Mesa cabin. It suited us perfectly. The privacy and beauty really set this place apart. Communication was immediate and amenities were everything you enjoy at home. For us it was located just far enough out of town to get away from the congestion and noise but close enough to drive in for groceries or a nice dinner without much hassle. We will absolutely book this cabin again!

Exceptional 5 days that will be remembered for a lifetime.
We had a wonderful springtime in the Rockies stay. Sunshine and snow. Beautiful views, friendly deer, homey layout. It was the perfect place to decompress and forget the hustle and bustle. We will be back.

This is how you rent Peace and Quiet
This home is clean, nice and comfortable. It has a big kitchen and family room area, and a big deck off of the back. The deck has a great grill. This is where we spent most of our time. Deck overlooks pasture, a creek, a lake, and amazing views. It is very secluded. We never saw another human and we enjoyed having the cows and horses as neighbors. It's about 15 miles E/SE from Salida where we picked up some groceries.

Beautiful
Home was better than pictures in VRBO. Everything we needed was there including a gas grill(we cooked our main meals) Clean, no pet odors, relaxing, great views, quiet location. Only thing that could be improved is the mattress in the room facing the deck/pond. Thank you for sharing your place with us, we We will be back!

We are Officially Return Guest
We enjoyed ourselves on this peaceful property. The managers were responsive and friendly. Our boys enjoyed themselves so much. The only complaint they had was not being able to use the pond. Hence, we will return in the summer.

Great Weekend Get Away
Great October weekend! Just wish the pond had more water and fish. I know it is just a result of the drought this year along with the fire ban so we could not enjoy an evening around an outdoor fire. The views are fantastic! The wood-burning stove is very efficient and heated most of the house. We had about a dozen deer feeding in the evening in the yard. BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!

Amazing stay!
My expecting wife and two close friends stayed here for three nights, and let’s say the pictures don’t do it justice! We loved how peaceful the property was and it’s perfect for pets, I think the dogs loved it more than we did. We are already looking to book our next trip there, thank you for a great stay!

Awesome getaway!
Sweet cabin tucked away from noise with breathtaking mountain views. Pond water level was a little low, but still a joy to look at. Salida is only a short drive away with views and access to the Arkansas River along the way. The cabin had everything we needed and was comfortable to hang out in. Will recommend to others looking for a get away.
