Beautiful House on AR River

Our stay at the River Rock Retreat was amazing. A nice house with all the amenities and access to the River from the back yard. It offered a secluded feel but still close to neighbors with a perfect view of mountains from the back porch. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our stay great!

Fantastic Private River Access

The house was larger than I expected. Very nice accommodations. The star is the outdoor space. The access to the river is fantastic. You can wade out or easily fish from the banks. Outdoor seating everywhere. Though the house has other homes around it, it feels very secluded. The hot tub is private while trees have leaves. The firepit area is completely private. There are numerous outdoor ring cameras on flood lights but at least no large animals can sneak up on you. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Family Getaway

I brought my parents and 2 older sons for a getaway in the mountains. Everything was PERFECT. Excellent location, beautiful property and the host is an exceptional communicator. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain retreat.

Beautiful home and surroundings!

My son and his wife stayed for 2 nights during their honeymoon and loved it! The hot tub was in good working order, the kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal, the scenery was breathtaking and the neighbors were all courteous. Checking in went perfectly and they enjoyed the biking trails that were close by.

Fantastic Everything!!

The location is beautiful and relaxing. The beds are seriously the most comfortable we have ever slept in! So many thoughtful touches like toiletries and towels, and an amazingly well stocked kitchen. It’s just a short (and beautiful) drive outside of Salida … we loved it!!

The photos don’t do the property justice, this was a really wonderful break, our boys and us really enjoyed our stay, everything was top notch. We will definitely return given the opportunity. Rest for outdoor adventure

We Can't Wait to Return!

This property was in the perfect location - love the privacy, peacefulness, grounds and close access to the river. It was a beautiful home with plenty of room for 6 adults (especially in the kitchen). The beds were comfortable and the house was very well-equipped with everything you might need. Loved the fresh flowers in the outdoor pots, made it feel extra homey and inviting. We can't wait to return! Owners were very responsive and nice to work with, too!

Great house and location

Great option near Salida

Great property near Salida with great views. House is older but well maintained and clean. It’s well stocked with accommodations. River front is great for fishing. Pictures appear as if the property is secluded but there are homes adjacent and on the other side of the river. Neighbors seem friendly.
