"We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use....

"Just what we were looking for, very secluded and lots of wildlife. It's nice to get away from the hustle of everything and just relax. First night we arrived, we checked in just after a rain storm and saw a perfect rainbow over the house. Just beautiful. "

"Great home! Very clean and with all the things we needed for our stay. Walkable to Churchill Pointe Restaurant. We brought our paddle boards, spent our days hanging on dock, and rented a boat for an afternoon as well. Water is super clear and amazing for swimming. Fire pit for s’mores at night rounded out the trip. Derek is incredibly responsive, and was able to work with us when our dates shifted from what we originally planned. Would definitely stay again! "
