Absolutely Incredible
Thankful to get the opportunity to stay at this magnificent home for 3 perfect nights. 15 people stayed, we never once felt crammed or crowded. There are so many areas to congregate. We cooked every meal there, used both grills. Everything is so clearly marked and easy to locate in the kitchen. We had a non stop fire pit, have never stayed at a place that provided so much wood! The hot tub was wonderful, super clean. The furniture was all very solid and sturdy, the beds comfortable. Now I want a rainshower head, what a nice touch. =) We watched some NFL in the theater room, played pool, jammed to the Alexa driven juke box, played shuffleboard and video games.....there is just truly nothing these owners haven't thought of. The grounds are stunning, so well maintained and landscaped. The dock got a lot of use, but seriously, 7 grown men couldn't catch a SINGLE FISH! LOL This truly was the best location, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return. Something else to note--usually guests are asked to do quite a bit of cleaning prior to check out at previous homes we have stayed. We felt odd not being asked to even strip the beds! Mr Rob was SUPER responsive, and very kind to let us in earlier and stay a little later since there weren't guests arriving just before or after us. The peaceful location was perfection for our group of friends, and we would love to see it in every season. Thank you again for the wonderful memories!

Spectacular Heron Point!
Heron Point is an amazing property with so many wonderful features and amenities! A beautiful home, location, and privacy. There are so many things to do or just sit and enjoy the lake around the fire pit or on the dock! A great place for a family gathering of all ages! The host of the property is always prompt at responding to messages to meet our needs! Thanks Rob!

Great spot for friendcation!
This is the third time we’ve stayed here in 4 years as it’s become a great spot for our friends across the country to hang out together and reconnect! The house has everything you need to host for a fun week. We had 18 people and the house did not feel small. We’ve previously stayed during the fall and this time we came in the summer and it was the perfect season to take advantage of all the kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards that come with the property. Used the fire pit in the evenings and the game and theatre room multiple times. Can’t wait till we come back!

SML Heron Point review
This was the sixth year in a row that we stayed at Heron Point House. Obviously, we are delighted with the house itself, its location and immediate access to the lake and other water sports. The Owner Rob Saunders has always been responsive to any issues which might arise. For example, one of the basins was clogged and Rob had a plumber to the house to resolve the problems within 2 hours. We just had a five-star weeklong visit to Heron Point with the quality of the house, its furnishing, improved landscape, lots of canoes and kayaks with a well-furnished dock to meet all of our demands and desires.

This place is like heaven on Earth!
Rarely can you say that anything was perfect, but our week at this amazing property was from start to finish. The hosts have thought of everything. We are all avid cooks & bakers and this kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Our granddaughters loved everything about this home especially the impressive movie theater, comfy firepit area, water toys at the dock & secret playhouse room. It's nearly impossible to please a large group like ours but this property exceeded all of our expectations. We are already looking at dates to come back next year!

Best ever!
Hard to leave this amazing house and location! We've stayed in numerous homes and this one surpasses them all. It was very clean; loved all the extras like towel/washcloth sets, soap/shampoo, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, even life jackets, canoes, and paddle boards. The rooms were spacious; the theater room was enjoyable and well equipped. Of course, the lake was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us and even had fishing available. We liked seeing deer walk by almost every day as well as a couple herons that flew by. We definitely plan to bring our group of 13 back again!

Amazing family getaway
We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful property. Every detail is thought out. We had amazing weather so were outside most of the time enjoying the lakefront setting. The provided kayaks and paddle boards were perfect for exploring. We enjoyed evening s'mores at the fire pit. The home had plenty of space for everyone. The little members of the group loved the secret playroom. Overall, an amazing home that provided the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend with family.

Great experience at Heron Point
The house is exactly as described and the owners/management have gone out of their way to ensure a good experience. Instructions for everything you need at the house are laid out clearly. All appliances and TVs work well and the kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of beds and bedrooms - as a party of 8 friends we could all stay in a separate space. The fire pit is excellent and it’s very nice to have the firewood provided. Views of the lake are beautiful, the game room is lots of fun, and the movie room makes for super enjoyable watching. Overall a great property and well worth a visit!

Great house and great location on SML
This was one of the nicest rentals we've stayed at. The bedrooms and layouts worked great for our large multigeneration family vacation. We are definitely looking into coming back to Heron Point in the future.
