"this place is nestles deveral miles into the woods. A perfect getaway! it's less than 30 minutes from water access and maybe 45 minutes to 7 points marina. there's a little grocery/mini mart a few mile up the hill if smaller items are needed. the were 8 of us and had plenty of room inside. We all enjoyed the stay and would do it again in Drooly Bear 100%"

"Perfect getaway. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The house was completely stocked and clean. The river is a few steps out the door. It rained the entire time so we didnt fish much. The host susan went above and beyond. If you're looking to be off grid this is the place for you. We are already planning our next trip(we plan to stay a lot longer next time. "

"The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the game tables and area for our elementary/middle school aged kids. There were lots of fuzzy blankets throughout the house and the hot tub was amazing and well maintained. We were in the area for a family wedding and this cabin was perfect for us and close to the venue. We even played a round or two of disk golf in our free time. I give this place a 5 star rating."

We checked out many of the attractions of Bedford & surrounding areas. The lake at Shawnee National Park was very enjoyable. "This is a beautiful property. We had little kids with us and they had a blast. There was so much for them to do from chasing fireflies at night to riding bikes down the driveway. The inside of the house is exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The host has it well stocked with all of the necessities, even lots of toys for the kids to play with. It was a wonderful week, full of laughter and good conversation in the most peaceful Space."

"The cabin was cute. Nicely decorated. The large deck was a very relaxing hang out spot. The cabin could have used a little extra tender loving care as far as the cleaning goes. The kitchen wasn’t stock very well. If you plan on cooking make sure to take more cooking essentials such as pots and pans, sheet pans, mixing bowls, baking dishes, dish towels, paper towels, plastic wrap, foil etc…The grill was left very dirty and had a broken gas tank, so we didn’t get use it.
