"Our family stayed at Brekka for the holiday season. The host’s directions were spot on and we found the house no trouble at night,in the snow, and never having been to Iceland before. The house was warm and clean on arrival & fully stocked with all utensils and cooking pots and pans, etc we needed for our stay. The three bedrooms and upstairs loft all got used as sleeping quarters; everyone was comfortable and the blankets sheets and pillows were all clean and inviting for a good night’s sleep....

"We are a group of five friends who planned this trip almost two years ago. We had to pick off season due to our schedules. The weather/wind in Iceland was the worst it has been in 10 years, and we briefly lost power. Our host brought us a generator, coffee, pastries, and kept us updated every step. They checked in on us often and responded immediately to any questions or concerns. They have a very detailed book on property with instructions for everything. "Muy limpia y muy bien situada. Tiene 2 habitaciones y una buhardilla en la parte superior: algo peligrosa para niños pequeños, pero divertida para niños a partir de los 8/9 años. Muy luminosa, buenas vistas y completamente equipada. El jakuzzi está fenomenal, no es de agua geotérmica (a mi me hubiera gustado mas, pero como digo es cuestión de gustos) y estaba muy limpio. El entorno invita a un paseo por el río truchero. Un poco justa para 6. Gracias a los anfritriones!!"
