"My husband and I came to Chama to ride the train and we lucky to stay in this gem. The room was quiet and charming, filled with art and thoughtful amenities in the bedroom and bath. The hostess was friendly and helpful and the grounds lovely. We certainly hope to visit here again soon."

"Rustic and charming log cabin. Almost no staff visible. Text for help. No breakfast, no food items for sale on property. Limited activities. At the base of the majestic Brazos Cliffs. Several miles from the highway and further yet to any retail. Heavily wooded. Wildlife in abundance. Enjoyed our stay, loved the wood-burning stove! Probably would not stay again nonetheless."

"My husband and I felt like we really got away from busy-ness to a peaceful, beautiful, serene neighborhood nestled far from the main highway in a tall pine tree area close to giant cliffs and the Brazos River. "Cute property. Well appointed kitchen, minus a dishwasher though. Old home, with sloping floors. This was not a problem except for the twin bedroom, where the occupant felt like she was going to roll out of bed. Leg risers or a platform to level that would be good. Good internet and tv. So much better than a hotel for hanging out.the property managers were quick to help us with a security alarm issue."

"We like this property and have stayed twice. The price is reasonable, it's dog friendly, check-out is reasonable, has a nice large living dining room for a small gathering. They provide lots of spices, flour, sugar, basic in the fridge, which is nice. The few things that could be improved -- the towels are a bit low quality. "I don’t think there is enough space to list all of the great qualities of this property!! First of all the cabin is amazing! It was just the right size for the two of us and had everything we could possibly need. It is beautifully built with the perfect mix of modern meets nature. I don’t think you could get closer to the Conejos River without being IN it!! The sounds, the smells and the scenery exceeded expectations! We even heard, and then saw, a bull elk rounding up his cows one morning....

"We stayed for a week and had a lovely time! Hosts were friendly and quick to respond to any questions.
