"The property has been in the owners family since the 1500s. The place was rustic and quaint. Very quiet. It is literally in the middle of the woods. We were there for Ironman race in Lahti, so it was a bit far out for the event. There is limited accommodations in Lahti for an event this size. "Clean, spacious apartment for a family of four. Aarni was very accommodating and let us access the apartment early to drop off our luggage before the football game we were attending. Small grocery store right across the street with easy access to bus system and Bolt if you use it. If you run (or cross country ski in the winter) the trails are very close and easy to find. The Olympic Training Center is 7 mins away by car. "

"The pictures don’t really do justice to the beauty and amazement of this place. We live in the United States and we are already planning to come back. Amazing communication with Otto before we arrived and amazing communication with Jussi when we arrived. He showed us around and explained what we needed to do to care for the place while we stayed. The only thing I would say is that the pictures don’t fully communicate how amazing this place is. Prepare for a luxury stay. Well worth the money."
