A nice place but....
I love cabins specially in these areas. Its very quiet definitely and plenty of space. During my stay i saw a deer just walking down the street freely it felt so thrilling. The deck was really nice to hang out there and grill some steak plus the fire pit had us entertained for a few hours lol. So much to share not enough patience lol...just want to say that overall this place is very nice and private i loved seeing the humming birds on the flowers close to the stairs. Inside was so cozy but probably too much downstairs. The last thing i REALLY WANT TO SAY is that the mold in the bedrooms is way to much and i almost couldn't take it sorry but unfortunately i would not go back until this is taken care of 😞 😊

Cosy winter cabin trip
Cosy cabin in the woods. Good location close to hiking/skiing. Cabin was overall clean. All necessary equipment is available, they have puzzles and a lovely fireplace. We would come back.

brief family stay
My family ( 3 adults ) stayed for two nights to close out our summer together. The cabin has so much potential charm. It is a quaint small cabin off a main road. We loved the outside deck area. We enjoyed drinks in the evening and coffee in the morning on the deck while listening to the wind and sound of the brook. When we arrived the cleaning staff where just finishing up which gave us peace of mind that it was prepared properly for us. Sadly, the downstairs smelled like mold and mildew. The bathroom sink drained poorly. It smelled like cat litter under the kitchen table. Furniture was old, uncomfortable and needs updating. Carpet had stains on it. The AC did not work and that was a feature it stated it had. We are low key people and adjusted to being there but unless the above items are addressed we would not return. If the property manager would put some money and time to invest in updating this home it could be amazing.

Never clean
We check in to find bloody pillows and the beds were not clean. We slept on towels the first night. NO ONE showed up to provide clean linen after 2 nights. The bathroom was disgusting! Pubic hair on the toliet and sink. We shower with sandels on because of the mess that was never clean! Ive been back and forth with vacasa on the phone and sms! It wasn't right and i wish i could post photos

Cabin in the woods
First I will start with the exterior. The stairs to the deck could use some cosmetic touch up. The exterior could use weeding etc. The main deck was awesome, however the cushions were soak and wet upon arrival which was kind of a bummer. The entrance was not appealing at all going up and down stairs as well as the living room space was stained. ( It was white in color)There was a sign to take your shoes off which we did and placed slippers on while in the interior of the cabin. There was a lip going into the dining & kitchen space that had a tack strip for change of flooring and the screws were sticking up waiting to catch bare skin. The kitchen was good for preparing and cooking our meals. (However we were missing the stopper for the sink, so we went out an purchased a rubber stopper so that we could do dishes) The bedrooms were fine for sleeping and comfortable beds. The bathroom was very compact and had issues with mold in the grout of the tile and wet wood walls ( an exhaust fan in the bath would help with the moisture in this room , we did open the bath window for air). The laundry room is junked up with all kinds of stuff, but did function to get our laundry clean for returning home. I will say all and all we had a fabulous time away from home, but this unit definitely shows it's age.

Perfect location for hiking
The location is perfect and it's very quiet and private. It has everything you need and we enjoyed our stay. One thing I questioned was the outdated and stained sofa cushions and the floor carpeting. I didn’t feel comfortable touching the fabric. There was a little problem with the thermostat that was fixed the next day. The first floor is a basement floor and it was pretty chilly to walk on its tiles. The full bed is comfortable and firm and the indoor fireplace is a gem. There is a vacuum that needs to be replaced (we taped the hose back in order to clean during our stay). This chalet is beautiful but walking on the outdoors deck is dangerous. My husband got his foot through one of the boards while bringing our luggage inside. There are lots of stones stuck inside the deck’s holes as warnings. We didn’t feel safe walking on the front deck. Don’t try it at night! We would love to return here again, I hope that our suggestions will be addressed.

Clean and cozy
The cabin is a cozy retreat in an excellent location for those wishing to be close to skiing in Jackson and North Conway. It is situated on the edge of Ware Preserve with wonderful walking trails. Our one suggestion is a guest user manual for the propane stove and oven which was problematic. Absolutely rustic and charming !

Cozy Christmas Chalet in the Woods
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect place for our family of three and small dog. We loved sitting by the fire watching the snowfall in the woods outside the chalet. Close to great XC skiing! We hosted three friends comfortable around the large table. Will come back in warmer weather to hike and take advantage of the two decks. It snowed while we were there and the plow came in a timely fashion to clear the driveway.

Thanksgiving getaway
This is our second rental at this property, adjacent to trails and river access is great especially with our pet that swims and like hiking the area. Only suggestion cut/leave firewood for your guests. Fortunately I brought my own. I would stay here again

Cabin in the woods
This cute place was perfect for our get away. Close to town yet out in the woods, you hear the creek across the way. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs, it is a small kitchen but that didn't stop us from cooking most of our meals there. I did have issues with cell service there, but was able to connect to wifi for calls. My only complaint would be that the mattress is ready for replacement, the bedroom it self was small but adequate. The shower was all tiled and pressure was good. All in all, would I go back? Yes! I loved our stay in this cute cabin in the woods. Just perfect for a weekend getaway!

Perfect Location
Perfect location! Out of the hustle and bustle of North Conway, but a five minute drive to almost everything. The house was rustic, but you can tell updating has been done. New kitchen appliances, redone bathroom, and this cabin has everything you need for a White Mountain get away. I will definitely consider renting this again! Also, Vacasa Vscation Properties is extremely easy to work with and made the renting process an easy one. It is also priced very well for this market!

Not what I had hoped for
Rusty old cans in the yard, rusted base board heater in the bathroom, front door hardly closed because a spring was jammed in it. When we arrived a half hour past our given check in time we were greeted by three cleaning people who were still “finishing up”. The porch and deck were unswept and the cushions on the deck were covered in cobwebs. It was 90 that day and none of the windows had been opened up, and there was only one tiny fan in the house. We saw an old AC unit in the downstairs closet so they probably used to supply this service… wish they still did. Our daughter is 13 so I wasn’t worried about the rust but I would have NEVER stayed if I had a little one. The house is in a decent location but it’s right next to the parking lot for the trail so don’t expect any backyard privacy. Overall we made the best of it but I won’t be back.

Wonderful Getaway
This property was great for our weekend getaway. The images and details were spot on, and we were provided with some great essentials like bedding, towels, garbage bags, dish soap etc. We happened to be visiting on a weekend with everyday being at least 90 degrees so the AC on the first floor ( bedrooms) was amazing. There isn’t AC upstairs so it got pretty warm up there during the day so if anyone is staying up there on the pull out couch I would recommend bringing some fans. Opening the windows in the evening helped a bit as well:) Overall this was a great house on a quiet road, very close to North Conway, brewery and restaurant in walking distance and a lot of outdoor dining/ relaxing space.

Relaxing stay
The property provided a great escape to the mountains. The chalet was the right size for us and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to town, the White Mountains, and hiking trails. Would stay here again without a doubt.
