"We recently enjoyed a delightful weekend getaway at Chapelton Cottage. The cottage itself is charming and impeccably clean. It has everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a cozy fireplace, a comfortable bed, a fully-equipped kitchen and many other extras. "Perfect for a family gathering of 20 people. It’s about a 15-20 min walk to/from the train station and grocery store (we did it a couple times), but I’d recommend a cab or a rental car to get around. The best part of the trip was the excitement of returning to the house after a long day of adventures, and hearing the constant laughter of the children running up and down the halls while playing hide and seek in their very own castle. "We have stayed in many flats in St Andrews, and this was by far the best. It is exactly as advertised. Roomy, spotlessly clean, and very well appointed. The garden is lovely, the kitchen is spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. As with many homes in St Andrews, the wifi struggles to reach the upper floors, but it works very well on the ground floor. The hosts are very responsive to any questions. This is an absolutely beautiful home and we highly recommend it."

"A lovely property with a stunning view! All sorts of experiences from 30 minutes to 2 hours away. We enjoyed golf, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Saint Andrews, Dunnottar Castle and more. Fully equipped kitchen made at home meals easy with grocery nearby. Outdoor fire pit was warm and welcoming at night. Gordon is a gracious and helpful host … the his “pet” pheasant very cool to see so close up! Highly recommend this rental to all."
