We like the simplicity of the decor and the lack of a TV. We also like that certain basic food stuffs are left (like salt and pepper) in case we forgot them. It's perfect. "

"Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 "

"My husband and I stayed four nights at Leah’s place. She and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. Very, very nice people. :) Great location if you want something quiet with beautiful view over the mountain. it’s very close to Island Pond and also to Silvio Conte wildlife refuge. If we go back to Vermont, we will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much, Leah. We had a wonderful time! "

The bed was very comfortable, the relaxation areas were great, the fan really helped cool things off and the windows brought in just enough cool mountain air and the sound of the loons! "My wife and I were looking for a quick get away, Keiths cottage was perfect. It had water access to the south bay where we were able to kayak and enjoy watch the bird activity. The home was super clean and had plenty of space to relax. It was a quick drive to the shops and restaurants in downtown Newport. Keith was quick to respond to any questions that we had. I would defiantly stay here again."

"Believe me the photos do not do justice to this cabin. If you want to be in the quiet woods in Vermont, this is your place. Looks brand new and is clean and comfortable.
