The perfect cabin
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. The fire pit and grill outside were the perfect camping amenities, and the hot shower and washer/dryer put the glamour in glamping. The bed was extremely comfortable and so was the cute reading nook. There was plenty to entertain with the trails and books/games provided. Our only small issues were a few wasps we had to fight off and we had a small issue with the shower water pressure. Everything we could possibly need was provided: hand soap, shampoo, butter, even ketchup! I never felt more welcome or more at home in a cabin until this one. Definitely will be coming back!!!

Our getaway weekend was amazing thanks to this beautiful secluded cabin. No neighbors but not too isolated where you feel you’re in the middle of nowhere. The distance between the cabin and food and necessities was perfect enough to still feel you’re away from the city and fast life. The cabin had everything we needed with a touch of rustic and new, amazing mountain views and beautiful porch to see the sunset. Our anniversary weekend was perfect.

Loved my stay. I was looking for a quiet get away to reset and rest, and it was exactly what I got. My cell phone didn’t work- which was a blessing in disguise :). WiFi worked great though. Definitely would stay again

Beautiful cabin!
This cabin was so beautiful and well thought out! The window bed so cool and very comfortable! The cabin was very clean, and had all the supplies we needed. Plenty of firewood too. Erica was very quick to respond to the couple of questions I had. We will definitely be back!

Cozy and quiet
If you want a quiet retreat, this is the place. Communication with the host is excellent the place is spotless, the bed is comfy and as you enjoy sitting by the fire, the night sky is beautiful.

We had a lovely time at the cabin. It wasnt *quite* as isolated without leaves on the trees and the neighborhood was interesting, but we didnt mind at all. We would definitely stay here again.

We initially had a difficult time entering the property as some local kids with their aggressive dogs blocked our car in until we laid on the horn and yelled for the dogs to move since the people did nothing to control their animals.

Great get away
It was a cute cabin and very enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and hanging lights. We just wish it was a little closer to Red River Gorge or hiking trails.

Minor inconveniences
The overall stay was pretty good but there are some things that need some work. The oven went out during our trip and threw a huge wrench in our cooking plans for the weekend including wasting groceries we bought. The water pressure in the shower was next to nothing and the water was never hot for long. We found when we arrived that some of the utensils still had grease and food on them. The lights kept flickering on and off and the bed was on wheels that would move at the slightest movement making it feel iffy to sleep on

Quiet and homey
Sweet cabin and quiet secluded location, has other nearby properties so feels safe. Host had everything you need but decor was not cluttered. I struggled a little with the lighting, could use a bright floor lamp for reading or needlework. Otherwise very nice!

We enjoyed our stay very much, the property was beautiful and the fire pit and amenities were nice. The oven did not work and there were several cockroaches in the kitchen but being in the woods it’s expected. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Exceptional Location, private and safe
This is really an exceptional location with more than expected amenities and resources. Everything you need for a long or short stay and easy access to hikes in RRG, Irvine or Raveena. Only one observation is if you prefer a lot of water pressure when you shower you will be disappointed with this location but for us to have a shower while out in the woods is a privilege.

Oven didn't work.
The cabin was great . The fact that the owner didn't let me know that the oven was a problem was a problem. I should've been informed beforehand so that i could have made a different plan for food options. She did reimburse some but that was disappointing to find out after i checked in .

WOW!
This cozy cabin is tucked away in the woods in close proximity to the Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone Forest. It has everything you could possibly need for a quiet, relaxing get-away or for a more adventure filled vacation. The property includes a fire-pit, porch/deck for sitting, and a gas grill for outside. Check-in was simple and owner communication excellent. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

Perfect couples getaway!
This property was very clean, and had all of the essentials. The decor was gorgeous. The nook bed was absolutely perfect. There was wood there ready for a fire in the pit which was very nice. The location is pretty far away from any attractions, approximately 45 minute plus drive. It’s very secluded, it was the perfect place to relax with my husband.

Birthday weekend with family
My husband and I along with our two children stayed for the weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The Gorge is one of his favorite spots. The cabin was beautiful with amazing retro decor. My son who is in first grade loves the window bed! He made it his own little room for the weekend! Will definitely stay again. Great price for a great spot.
