"Absolutely beautiful place to stay…steps from one of the lost beautiful beaches in the world. Still rebuilding the area after the 2019 hurricane. Friendly people all around. Yvette is the consummate host! Addressed all questions quickly and her Serenity by the Sea is so warm and cozy! A must place to stay if you are looking for quiet, very few kids, and no theme parks! Just don’t book and bump us from our next stay!!!"

"The property was everything we imagined & more! Gorgeous views of the water, spacious/well equipped kitchen, fun water toys, comfy beds & lots of bathrooms! Our adult daughter spent most of the time in the water and exploring the lagoon. We enjoyed being together at the house & taking a few adventures to Turtle cay & Hope town. The bunk room would have been perfect for our 4 grandkids in Kansas but this was a short get away for their Mom & Dad. Thank you Misty for sharing your beautiful home...

"Host was extremely informative about where to go to eat and where to find the best shells! Good information about the local area and beaches, the tides. Bed was super comfy. Plenty of beach towels and bathing towels provided. Clean and comfortable. Easy check out process. Locals were kind and informative. Good local grocery within walking distance. "It was a very pleasant stay. The location is wonderful although not easy to find at first. The beach and water were awesome. The pool was also very nice and clean. Ivan was very friendly and helpful. We did have an issue with hot water in the showers and they drain slowly. Other than that, it was wonderful."

Issues with the door to the deck being heavy and hard to move (especially for my kids) and the power going out frequently (they have a generator but even that was tricky to work at times). But overall the magic of this place cannot be put into words. We LOVED it and will be back for certain. "I’ve been to exuma and Nassau and Abaco is far superior. The food for some reason is as good as south Florida as opposed to the other islands where even at fancy resorts it was mediocre and overpriced. The people were super nice and professional. The hotel is old but it’s clean and my room was fine. Will not be going back to the other islands. Exuma is too empty and Nassau is too ghetto and overrun by tourists. Ask for Kim or Shelly at the bar. Really, really good people. "
