"1 The Noust is a perfect haven for a quiet retreat and to explore mainland Orkney. The cottage is extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen. "Fantastic stay at John O Groats. We had booked a double ensuite room which looked lovely. When we arrived the manager was waiting for us to ask if we would mind if they upgraded our room as the heating wasnt wasnt working. Obviously we didnt mind. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to our upgraded room. They had given us a three bedroomed, two bathroom lodge which was amazing. Warm, comfortable clean and pur luxury. We settled down by the logburner to watch the sea through the huge windows....

"This location was a great place to stay to explore Orkney. We loved the isolated and peaceful area. Plenty to do and see if you are prepared to drive a few miles. Spectacular cliff top walks with an abundance of bird life. The accommodation has everything you need for a self catering holiday. We stocked up with everything we needed from Tesco in Kirkwall after getting off the ferry. "
