Most evenings we drove / hiked to Shark Reef Sanctuary to watch the sunset. 50 years ago I first visited the San Juan Islands, and I hoped someday I would return. "I liked everything about West Beach Resort. The cabin was very roomy, clean, cute, and had everything you might need. The people at the resort are friendly and helpful. Every cabin has a little fire pit right on the beach, and the staff leaves you a bundle of wood. If you don’t feel like driving to town for dinner, they make pizza!"
