"Fab house un fab location with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Pictures doesn,t do It justice. Everything was very clean, fully equipped, Inc. shampoo and conditioner, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher, etc. John has been a great host, he invited us to Saint John,s party, with his family and friends and It was very nice. "Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

"What an incredible and comfortable place. The views, property and region were stunning. Loved the cottage and its decor and the peaceful easy energy that surrounded us. We stayed eight days and enjoyed many day trips throughout the region. Plus several days simply being in the awe inspiring space watching the tides come in and flow out. "Everything was perfect for us to enjoy the area and drive into clifden for restaurants and pubs for traditional Irish music. The road is a bit narrow towards the house the last bit but we did it slowly. We also enjoyed great meals at the nearby Connemara sands hotel just near the house."

"We spent around 10 days in Aileens House und discovered Connemara and the west coast of Ireland. We can recommend trips to the sky road, galway, Clifden, the cliffs of moher, kylemore abbey or Diamond hill. On the other hand a day relaxing in the House is just beautiful. "We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Debbie's amazing house, there isn't a single thing to fault! The location is fab, the view of the sea is spectacular and the whole area is very scenic. "I stayed here with my 2 teenage children and our dog. We loved the house and location. Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. We all slept well in the calm and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a million"

"Our family stayed at this lovely home for a few nights during our 2 week holiday to Ireland. The cottage is quaint with it's traditional decor and lovely homey feel. Check in was a breeze and communication with the owner was great. The real clincher and the reason we will most certainly be back is the gardens around the property and the VIEW. Incredible. I wish we'd had more time to enjoy it! Thank you for hosting us!"

"This cottage was an absolute dream. We arrived on a blowy evening and lit the woodburner in the cosy sitting room. In the morning we awoke to glorious views across a sparkling sea to the Connemara hills, with lambs hopping around the adjacent field. There are stunning walks straight out of the door, including to a beautiful cove just steps away. "We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island.
