"Hai and Chilly were fabulous hosts, communicative and always happy to assist in any way. As it was winter we opted to stay in the village. The family sized room with 2 king beds and bathroom plus your own seating and hammock out the front situated in lovely gardens was a great place to recover after doing the Ha Giang Loop. "We came to Cat Ba island with the main purpose of climbing, and picked this hotel for the perfect location right next to the best crag on the island (Butterfly Valley). The lovely owners, clean/modern room, and excellent restaurant made this the best accommodation in our entire Vietnam trip.
