"Amazing...a 3 star that is 5 star for nature lovers! Log cabins with kitchen and comfortable beds, real fire places with ample free dry wood topped up daily, view of the lake. 2 hot tubs and sauna, free access to plenty of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards any time you want, small but good size quiet lake with fish to catch, multiple docks with chairs and other access to swim. Eagles, deer etc all around. Suoer attentive and friendly staff on site. Office has tons of games and puzzles to use....

"This was exactly what we needed after a week of camping on our road trip - this place is so lovely, from the cabin itself (inside and out), to the big trees surrounding it, the pathway through the forest, the delicious breakfast and coffee, and of course the most relaxing bath/shower outside. Tara was so welcoming and was helpful highlighting spots around the island. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon! "

"We enjoyed this property for 2 weeks in June-July, including the Canada day holiday. Large covered deck overlooking tidal lagoon is very relaxing. Enjoyed the Canada Day events in Sidney and riding bikes to Swartz Bay ferries for day trips. We may well return next summer. If we go again we would check tide table ahead of time for afternoon paddleboarding. Interior of property comfortable. "

"The view is absolutely stunning! The property is more than it states. I will add a tiny bit more information. The driveway does indeed fit 4 cars. Just keep in mind that 2 cars will always be buried at the front and it’s a slightly curved in and slightly curved out. Pauline briefly mentions the little tram. However it was a game changer for our little group as you can unload and load less than 300lbs of luggage and groceries and with a person at the top to send it down and people at the bottom...

"Very comfortable suite, quiet and clean.It had everything we were looking for ; very comfy bed, living area with tv. We spent so much time exploring the island; we didn’t cook meals there but there was a well stocked kitchen area with microwave , toaster, coffee maker, mini fridge. Absolutely stunning garden area to sit out and enjoy. Host was very easy to communicate with and was a lovely lady. Such a central area for easy access up and down the island. We’ll be back!"
