Yellowstone trip with 3 night stay in a teepee (teen bucket list item) was a big hit with our teens! Great communication & service the entire time. THANK YOU for helping make this a great family vacation.
When you 1st arrive, check in at the Welcome Tent, call if no one is there. Optional: Pick up bear spray & pay for propane heater.
Campsite was beautiful & clean. Spacious teepee. Comfortable beds had plenty of pillows, fitted sheet, flat sheet, & comforter & also 1 small extra blanket per bed. Used the propane heater every night. Thunderstorms the 1st night & had no leaks. 2 nightstands with lamps, outlets for charging your phones & laptops. Wouldn’t run a hair dryer. Bring camp chairs to sit outside the teepee.
Clean showers/bathrooms are short distance from the teepee & water was hot. There was shampoo, conditioner & body soap. Chest outside showers for dirty towels. If you have a disabled or elderly person, be aware the doors were a little difficult to open & close as you walked up the 3 or 4 steps as they wanted to shut on their own.
The community fire pit has wooden chairs, picnic tables, roasting sticks, a tether ball & corn hole games. Camp hosts were friendly & good company while we roasted complimentary smores & our own hot dogs. Community fire pit from 7-10pm.
Around our teepee we saw moose, deer & many different birds. It's a beautiful location close to a main road & there weren't any bear trash cans onsite so my teens were not too worried about bears.
