"Such an incredible little property. The view is incredible and the pictures on the listing don't do it justice, it's definitely a million dollar view. Doug and Jan were great hosts and included so many extra amenities and thoughtful touches like snacks and drinks which was so sweet. Hot tub was fabulous and while it's a drive to town, it's worth it for a one of a kind stay. "

"This is a lovely, quiet and well appointed, private guest suite in a stunning location. The surrounding area has a nice sense of being off the beaten track with truly breathtaking scenery. Our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a relaxed summer break, exploring local attractions, eating at close by cafes and swimming."

"Excellent place to overnight before my flight. Easy food in walking distance in the evening and then a few places were open at 630am to grab breakfast before my flight. Check in was seamless and the space was spotless. The backyard chickens were a very cute touch. "

"We rented the apartment for three nights. Had a fantastic stay. Checked in without having to meet anyone, very spacious, clean, and accurate to the listing photos. Very old building with creaky floors, but tons of character. Great communication with the building manager. Highly recommend and I hope this unit is available next time I need to rent. "

"I would highly recommend staying at this particular unit. The hostess, Linda was invisible and yet any question we had we would send an email and receive an instant answer.The unit itself is brand new and beautiful. Everything you need is supplied in the kitchen. The living room is very comfortable with the dining area. The bed was majestic. Super comfortable mattress and pillows.We have been vacationing as husband and wife for over 50 years and this is definitely the best stay we’ve ever had.If...

"The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the host was quite friendly. The ensuite washroom is small but adequate. The home is about 6 years old and in excellent condition. There is a limited number of accommodations on Gabriola Island and we were happy. We chose this one. There was an outdoor hot tub available however we didn’t use it. We would stay here again should we visit the island in the future "

"The only minor difficulty we had was while we were trying to unlock the door via lockbox, however we soon learned we did it wrong, no fault of the owner. The space was snug, rather spacious, clean, and overall perfect for our stay."

"Clean with lovely view. Close to restaurants and shopping.Doors inside apt need some WD40 on the hinges because they were very squeaky. Other than that everything terrific."

"If you are looking for a quality place to stay and this is available. STOP. Book this property. On a quite residential street. The double beds are comfortable. Large spacious kitchen with coffeemaker, hot water pot, micro, air fryer, dishwasher, large refrig with freezer, etc. In living room--large windows, AC, TV, and recliner with vibrate mode. Easy 9 miles driving from Victoria. Highly recommend."
