It was our first visit to Istanbul, so we didn't know what to expect, but it was great!
The hotel is a really nice little boutique hotel, nearby a lot of the famous curiosities,in a quite area of Sultanahmet. There is no counter or a breakfast room, wich at first was kind of strange, but actually it is just oke!!They do have all you need!At the entrance you can find most of the time one of the owners of the hotel. They are extremly kind and willing to help you at all times. The entrance is also the place where you can find your breakfast in the morning.
When the weather is good you can eat on the rooftop terrace where you have an amazing view over Marmara and when it is cold you can eat in your room, wich is spacy enough. The breakfast is simple but just fine for a days starter.
(Turkish:tea or coffee-ask for milk if you want toas we discoverd that the last day- bread, cheese, slices of bread sausage, tomatos, cucumber, olives and jam)We had a room on the seaside.Beautifull view!It made me happy waking up.But you can't deny the noise from the cars & trains (it didn't bother us,but if you are having sleeping trouble ask for a room on streetside or bring earplugs.Although the trainrails will be replaced in the future)
Everyday our room was cleaned and we got fresh towels.SUPER
The personal touch made our stay unforgetable:We had a drink with Mete,we borought an akbil from Aziz and he even arranged free transport to Ataturk airport.
WHAT A GREAT SERVICE! Thank you for the nice memories
