Impeccably clean with amazing views
We had the most amazing stay at Carolyn's place. She left us a place so clean that we all felt comfortable walking around the house without shoes. I have stayed at numerous rentals and this was the cleanest i have ever experienced. The views were gorgeous, with the bonus being that you can see the Cornell campus from here. Easy access to all things Ithaca, wifi was fast, and kitchen was well appointed. We did not go in the lake but we did enjoy some r and r on the dock. Would stay again.

Beautiful lake views
Our stay was wonderful! NY in the fall is some serious competition…. Views of the lake were perfect, ample space for 6 adults, super close to town and scenic areas. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting some great views and a peaceful vacation experience. Host was very communicative and gave great direction.

Fall Family Vacation
We had a great week and loved all of the beautiful lake views from the house. It was great to have a dock to keep our rental pontoon boat at. Our family of six all had plenty of room to relax, as well as our dogs. The location was great! Close to town, Watkins Glen, and plenty of wineries.

Beautiful lakefront home
Carolyn and Adam's lakefront house was a pleasure to stay at. The house was clean, airy and comfortable. The view from the living room and deck was stunning. The property at lake level offered more seating, a dock and the use of the canoe and kayak. The kitchen was well stocked with a view of the lake from there also. The downstairs spa tub was very relaxing and the new upstairs bathroom was a nice addition. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would recommend the house to anyone to have a relaxing stay with a great view.

Super clean and comfortable. There were 6 adults and we were very comfortable and felt very at home. Spent time on the deck playing games in the evening. Enjoyed watching sunsets and sunrises over the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing lake house with fantastic views
Our Family ( 2 Adults, 2 kids and 3 Corgis) enjoyed the stay at this lakeside home. The house and property are well maintained, we would recommend this house and plan to stay again in the near future. Great fishing for the kids off the dock!

Perfect Family Getaway with stunning views and endless activities
This was a perfect place for our family to stay! The house is beautifully located and designed, offering stunning views from every room. The backyard was absolutely amazing! We were able to BBQ and dine on the deck while soaking in the breathtaking lake view. The provided kayaks and canoes allowed us to enjoy the lake to the fullest. The fire pit is a delightful addition, where we enjoyed hot dogs and s'mores. My son had a blast fishing off the deck, catching numerous fish. Our dogs loved playing in the yard and lake. We can't wait to return. We had the most incredible time!

My husband, dog and I stayed for two weeks and had a fantastic time. The home was perfect for us to get a feel for the area, see the snow, and visit the wineries, find good restaurants, and of course take the waterfall hikes. Quiet peaceful lakefront getaway
The property was just as described- very well maintained and beautiful panoramic views of the lake. It was quiet and peaceful and just as described in the listing. It was a great location to relax and a great location being 5-10 minutes from Downtown Ithaca restaurants, Taughanock Falls and Buttermilk.

Surrounded by Gorgeous fall colors on Cayuga Lake
Beautiful location. Just the right time to view fall colors while exploring waterfalls on numerous hiking trails and driving peaceful country roads. Tons of wineries and distilleries to visit plus downtown Ithaca with great restaurants and eateries. Our VRBO host was wonderful and the house had everything you could need! Beautiful clear water and open skies to view from the large deck, the dock, or by the fire pit at night. The one drawback named by several others is the tricky driveway—best to have four-wheel drive and steely nerves.

Relaxing lake retreat
Great house right on the lake, plenty of room, nice yard area for kids + dogs. Kayaking and fishing right off the dock area. Plenty to do nearby including waterfalls, farmers market, wineries and a short ride in to Ithaca.

Enjoyed this property, view and location. Close to grocery stores and wineries, and being near the end of the lake it was private and had little boat traffic. House was clean and we were satisfied with our week spent at this property

Perfect for a Getaway
The view from the living room is fantastic and it is well maintained and clean. Three bedrooms gave us a lot of space but we had to share one bathroom. We managed. The location is between Ithaca and some beautiful state parks so the location is pretty close to perfect. We wished we had more time to enjoy the dock on the lake. Kitchen was well equipped with all we needed. Beds were clean and comfortable. If there was an item of concern it was the driveway. Very steep and hard to navigate onto the main road. Wouldn't want to be there with snow. Note, however, the current owners really have no control over this.

Stunning Views and Lovely Property Near Everything
This was a wonderful property near everything--waterfalls, Cornell, restaurants, all are a short drive away. The owner was also very responsive. I can't say enough good things about the property. It's good to know that the driveways are tricky--and steep. I have a mini-cooper and next time I stay I'll rent a car to come! But I certainly hope to return!

Teachers’ Getaway Weekend
We had a wonderful time and the views were to die for. Everything we needed was there up to the drip coffee pot. The house was close to hiking trails and wineries and it was nice to come back, relax, and use the canoe and kayak. We would definitely book again.
