Family Thanksgiving Trip
We can’t say enough about our stay at the Lake. It was plenty big enough for our family of 11, Kitchen is outfitted with everything you need and lake access was tremendous. We spent most days on the back patio enjoying wildlife and family games. The town of Iva is a quaint spot and Abbeville is only 20 minutes away and full of history and a great downtown. You can’t miss with staying here!

Great stay
Our family has outgrown our own lake house. This spot was prefect for our extended family members. Enough room for everyone to have their own space and a table big enough to come together for meals. The paddle boards and kayak added to the fun. We have already booked another stay!

Beautiful place with everything you need. Great location and access to lake. We were there for my daughters wedding at Heyward Manor, Very close to venue and quiet and relaxing very nice for wedding stress. Easy check in- host great I Highly recommended

Wedding weekend
My niece was getting married at a house on the lake so my sister's families and I rented this house to be able to enjoy the wedding weekend. The house was perfect for our 3 families ranging from 7 years old to 50 years old (9 people total, with beds to spare). We were less than a 5 minute pontoon ride to the wedding house which was perfect for rehearsal day and wedding day. Kathy has been extremely responsive from booking and even went above and beyond sharing a personal item to us when we were in need. Cannot say enough GREAT things about the property and the host. Thank you!

Beautiful, Spacious, comfortable, quiet, lovely outdoor space
We loved the Lake House! We had family come in for our daughter’s wedding. There was plenty of space for everyone! Bedrooms were nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. Plenty of extra pillows, blankets, sheets and towels. Beautiful functional kitchen. 2 living rooms! The outdoor deck spanned most of the home. Lots of comfortable furniture outside; great space to enjoy our company. Kids could be outside playing! They really enjoyed the family of 3 ducks that would come to visit. Kayaks, SUP, life vests, nice socks! It was a great place for us to relax and enjoy our family!

Almost perfect
The house and setting were absolutely lovely, the house was well decorated and spacious, the lake was a ton of fun, and communication with the host was excellent. We really felt welcome and enjoyed most of our stay. That being said, there were a few cleanliness issues, mold and grime on the grill required a trip into town for cleaning supplies and an hour of elbow grease, expired food in cabinets, lightbulbs out, and a broken doorknob that left my son stuck in a bathroom. HOWEVER, all of these things can be attributed to the fact that March is probably the off season and we were likely the first guests in a while, and we really did enjoy our stay regardless of the few issues!!

Wonderful Trip
We enjoyed the week swimming and sunning. We were able to rent a pontoon and explore the lake as well. Neighbors were super nice. The accommodations were perfect for our large group, and even was child friendly for my 2 yr old grandson. We had a blast and will definitely be back !

Great little hideway near outdoor activities!
Great accommodations and great host! Sleeping arrangements were great with 4 different bedroom. Primary bedroom was a true primary. Smart TV's in 4 main bedrooms. Deck is large and plenty of seating inside and OUT! Fans on porch were a nice touch. And propane grill. Thank you!

We loved our stay !! Large home with plenty of room we met 2 of my boys and their families. Grandkids enjoyed kayaking, my husband enjoyed fishing!! In town for wedding
We had a large group of adults in for a weekend wedding. The house is big enough for a lot of people. The bunk room is probably comfortable for kids but not really for adults. The beds in the 4 bedrooms were very comfortable as was the large couch in the main living room. The deck is fantastic, spent a lot of time out there with the family.

Reunion Weekend
We were 5 siblings and 4 of our spouses in the area to attend a 50 year church anniversary reunion. This place was excellent for us. We enjoyed relaxing times at this lakeside home. The accommodations were fine, the place was clean and quiet. Thank you for the experience. I would recommend this place.

Wonderful family vacation
This house was perfect! Plenty of space, all the touches to feel just like home. Plenty of linens/towels, all kitchen appliances even an ice maker! Great back deck with covered/lighted area and a large canopy over open portion. Back yard is great for kids to play and the floating dock/trampoline was a huge hit! TVs are all smart, my nephews had a blast on the gaming console, and there’s even a full sized wooden cornhole set! You won’t find a better house on many lakes! We will definitely be back!
