"The Cottage on the Kennebec is exactly as advertised. We explored the area (Houston Brook Falls, Moxie Falls, and Jackman Trading Post are highly recommended!), but spent a lot of time just enjoying the property kayaking, grilling, sitting by the river, playing games, and using the fire pit. Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel welcome while respecting our privacy."

"Lois greeted me and was very welcoming, showed me some of Paul’s woodwork and showed me around the cabin and grounds. It was extremely peaceful and cozy, very close to bigelow and flagstaff, and a nice fire pit out back, cool outdoor kitchen and comfy bed. I was happy and grateful. "

"Check-in instructions were emailed a few days in advance. The cabin is so cute and cozy. Having 6 of us, it was a little cramped inside, BUT, we spent 90% of our time outdoors anyway. "We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Plenty of room for our family (us parents and our three teenagers) to spread out, and we had everything we needed to make our own meals in the kitchen.
