Just what we needed
Loved this property. From the moment we walked into the door this place was so clean and well decorated. The view of the lake was beautiful. I rented this place for a weekend to go to the MIS Christmas lights and we totally enjoyed ourselves. We had a total of six in our party, four adults and two children. There was enough room for everyone to enjoy ourselves. This house is laid out so nice. I would definitely rent this home again. Thank you for renting your home to us.

Charming cottage
This property was beautiful and peaceful. The deck over looking the lake was just what I needed to relax. The personal touches and decor throughout was amazing. This house had the perfect amount of space for everyone. I would recommend this house.

This was one of the nicest house we have stayed in using VRBO. Everything was super clean and the deck facing the lake was gorgeous. My mom spent every morning and evening out there.

Lovely lake home
We Highly recommend!!! The lake house was so nice! Tastefully decorated and well appointed. It had pretty much everything you need for your stay available. We had three couples for a long weekend, and there was plenty of room and very comfortable furnishings. The deck overlooking the lake is fantastic. I would suggest bringing water shoes and floaties if you want to use the lake as it does not have a sandy beach. Melinda was very responsive with the one and only question I had for her. Would definitely stay here again! The bonus is that it is a short drive from the city.

Beautiful home overlooking a quiet serene lake. Everything you may need in a cozy atmosphere. Kayaks, several outdoor spaces, a cool basement (it was in the 90’s outside) and well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms. Yahoo! Perfection.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated home. The attention to detail in the decor made the house feel incredibly homey and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has been put into making this place a relaxing retreat. The house is truly a hidden gem. We enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and found it to be an ideal spot for unwinding. Overall, this was one of the best stays we've had. We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

A perfect respite
We attended a 3-day event at the Michigan International Speedway and after a long, busy (loud) day we were giddy to retire to this soft, quiet place and renew. The house is beautifully appointed, relaxing, spacious and the view from the back deck over the lake melts away any stress from the day. Melinda is a wonderful host - thank you for everything!
