"I didn't know until the day before that it was on the 2nd floor. I thought it was ground floor. I found it dangerous to have to get to the beach from the deck in the back of the condo . The stairs were very slick because they stay wet. And i witnessed several people fall trying to get to the beach area . "

"This is our third time renting this charming beach house. The house is perfect! Incredible ocean views with a commute to the water in less than 30 seconds. We stayed with 2 families (4 adults and 5 children) and the size was perfect! You definitely get what you pay for. Christine is the best manager and will take care of anything you need. She was even willing to give us a late check out to have more time at the beach. "

Only incredibly minor complaint was that the smoke alarm is super sensitive and went off every time we used the oven. Better to work than not at all though! Definitely will be coming back. "

"We came for a wedding and had a lovely stay. G ot the tail end of Hurricane Helene and were high and dry. The beach is lovely. I had for gotten how much I enjoy Atlantic beaches. There is also a pool for those who don't want sand between their toes! The unit was well stocked and had everything you would need to cook a meal. I hope to come back to Emerald Isle!"

"This is a lovely home and perfectly placed on the beach. Exactly what we wanted to eliminate packing and taking everything to the beach--we could go in and out of the house all day--absolutely perfect in this regard. The disappointments were in the amenities and comfort within the home or on the deck. It's quickly clear this is a managed home never occupied by a personal owner. "We loved this house! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. The house is in a nice neighborhood a stone’s throw from downtown Swansboro and the riverside. It’s perfect for a few adults or couples. The only drawback is one bathroom shared between the three bedrooms, but it’s at least a nice size and beautifully renovated. It was no issue for my girlfriends and I. We’ll be back!"
