"Definitely a hidden gem!the view of the lake from inside the house is phenomenal!will definitely be staying here again.if I had one complaint it would be the WiFi .it was VERY weak. I know we vacation to “disconnect “ but this day in age work is always there and you need to be able to communicate.that being said I still give it 5 stars!"

"This place was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. It's the cutest tiny home with all the accommodations you can think of! The owner even left a thank you card with banana nut bread for us! There was everything you need including coffee, drinks, food, spices, etc. The porch is screened in, has lights for nighttime, and a ceiling fan. It was raining a lot the day we stayed so this was perfect for us! Also we wanted to fish and the owner let us use the boat dock, its a little hike down...

"The sugar shack was a great place to stay with my husband and daughter. Being right on the lake was amazing. It was just enough room for the three of us. The grill was in great condition, we grilled out each night of our stay. I think it’s important for anyone staying here knows that getting to the house from the top of the driveway and getting down to the lake could be challenging if you have any mobility issues. "The house is very cute little place for a stay on the lake. The bedroom with 2 beds had several dead bugs along the wall, maybe just need cleaned a little better. Overall house was very cute. "We reserved this Vrbo when we had to travel to Pell City for our daughters state softball tournament, which was located almost next door! "The house was very clean and is well maintained. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. Pretty views of the river and is in a quiet location. My only complaint is that there was only a half a roll of paper towels and only one extra trash bag and we were there for 4 days, not a big deal though. Overall, great place to stay!"
