Overall, this place was very nice. The grounds are lovely, and feel more intimate than they look in the pictures. Great firepit, and my kids loved climbing on the big rocks all around. The house itself is new and snug, with lots of sleeping space. There is a general store just half a mile away which had everything we needed for our stay. Our main issue was the main living level, which was much more cramped than looks from the pictures, and packed with furniture which made navigating the space and moving around the kitchen challenging. There were just two adults and two kids, and we had trouble moving about; I can't imagine navigating it with a house full of people.
Well equipped in some ways (lots of pans and storage containers, a laundry basket and detergent) and off in others (broken trash can lid, no drying rack for dishes, empty boxes of food wrap in the drawers, no remote for one of the two tvs) which probably reflect the difference between a management company overseeing the place and an individual owner. Most of these small details were just irritants but didn't really affect our stay--it was a comfortable, new house with fresh furnishings and lots of outdoor space.
