We had a great small family vacation at this place. We liked that were five bedrooms. The kitchen had lots of great supplies for cooking. The air conditioning was pretty good, a little, less strong upstairs, but overall nice and great to have in this area since it does get hot. It cools off at night so that was helpful. Deanna was really helpful in that there was hardly any toilet paper and coffee when we first got there and she took care of that right away. The location of the home is high up on a mountain outside of Jacksonville, and the views are amazing. The deck is great. And the trees were very well pleased to provide shade throughout the day. It can be a little bit bright in the morning in the living room. There is a lot of privacy at this place, although there is a caretaker in the bottom. He was very nice and discreet. Just to let people know, it is a bit of driving on gravel roads that are somewhat steep to get to the house so you need to deal with that each time you go into town or leave, it’s not bad, but something to be aware of. The beds in the two smaller rooms were pretty hard and not the most comfortable, but I think the rest of the beds were OK. Those beds are probably best for kids or individuals as they are full and not queen sized. Overall, we had a great stay, and definitely loved the views!
