"Emma contacted me unprompted to see what time I would be arriving, which was a nice courtesy. Enjoyed a nice slice of homemade cake with my tea upon arrival. Nice touch! My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. "We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. "Gorgeous cliff top view of the sea from hotel room. Same amazing view from the dining room at breakfast. Continental only but we found it satisfying. We stayed in a room in the first floor which had up to date decor. Comfortable beds. A little bit of dust in places but you cannot completely remove all dust. I would say that you need a car to access south beach. Overall we were happy during our one night stay. "
