Very clean and beautiful cabin!
The cabin itself was nice, very clean, and had all the amenities I needed to cook dinners and enjoy time by myself. The owners were accommodating and responded quickly to messages. They even mailed an item I accidentally left behind without hesitation! I would absolutely stay here again!

Great little getaway!
Was just what we needed to decompress and relax! Quiet neighborhood with plenty of space between properties to enjoy our own privacy. Cabin was very clean and had anything you could need in the kitchen as well as an array of books and games to sit on the porch and enjoy the outdoors. Owners were very polite and reached out to let us know if anything we needed to reach out. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this location. The cabin was in a beautiful area. Travel time to small towns in the area and to Lake Placid was a half hour or less. The cabin itself was wonderful. We were extremely comfortable.

A lovely retreat in the Woods
The Cabin is charming and cozy. I especially loved the knotty pine interior. There was nothing lacking as far as supplies and necessities were plentiful. The furnishings are lovely and tasteful. At first we were nervous when we pulled into the driveway but were delighted as soon as we opened the door and walked into the front room with the wood burning stove. We felt right at home immediately!

Spotless and centrally located
The cabin was located on a quiet, little road, perfectly situated between hikes with amazing views and markets and restaurants. I’ve stayed at several rental properties that claim to be clean, but this one, was spotless. I look forward to returning one day!

Old Crow had me Aglow!
Great place to stay if you're seeking a peaceful getaway. I used the space for a working vacation and meditative/contemplative retreat with excellent results. The amenities were fantastic and everything was in good working order. I strongly encourage you to give Old Crow a visit.

Perfect winter retreat
If you’re looking for the perfect couple’s getaway, look no further. Everything about this cabin was absolutely perfect. We were able to unplug, read books by the fire and play board games. We can’t wait to return!

Great secluded cabin, close to Lake Placid.
We really enjoyed our weekend stay at The Old Crow cabin. Check in was super easy and although we never met the hosts, they were available if we needed them. We had just one question and Allan responded quickly. The cabin was clean and cozy and we loved the surroundings. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. We wanted for nothing. A few tips: There are only a few small restaurants in town and reservations are a must. Don’t rely on GPS when out and about because reception is spotty at best, although the cabin does have WiFi. Our weekend was so peaceful and just what we needed.

This beautiful cabin was a great place to spend a quiet week away. It was quiet, clean, and cozy. We enjoyed hiking throughout the area, as well as a little shopping and sightseeing. We were impressed with the cleanliness. It was exactly as indicated in the ad. We will definitely return. Loved it!

Quiet cabin with all amenities
The is perfect place to stay in the High Peaks of NY. Our expectations were surpassed! Did not have the opportunity to use the wood stove, but we certainly plan on returning during a colder time of year.

Allan and Tricia were very good at communicating. The home was as advertised. Very clean and well kept . The area AuSable Acres was quiet and serene. We enjoyed ourselves. The only thing would of liked is a fire pit outside.

Place was perfect for what we were looking for. Centrally located to many of the places we wanted to visit. I can’t think of anything that you would need that wasn’t there. Very clean, cozy and quiet!! Even had a deer visit me each morning. Definitely will be visiting again!!

Absolutely magical stay. From the moment we arrived we knew how cozy it was going to be. So comfortable, just like home. The location was a dream come true, so close to all our bucket list adventures. You can tell everything in the cabin is so thoughtfully placed. Lots of games and books to spend a rainy day or evening playing and reading. The amenities provided were excellent. The fully equipped kitchen allowed me to cook up delicious meals. I also appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi connection, which kept me connected when needed.The hosts were warm and welcoming. Their local recommendations were spot-on, and they were always just a message away if I had any questions. Thank you! Looking forward to coming back here.
