"There were 7 of us and everyone had a comfy, cozy bed. There were enough towels and there were two sets of washers and dryers. The kitchen was well-appointed and we did most of our cooking onsite. We were out in the wilderness a lot, hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, sight-seeing. We were close to some pretty impressive hikes and the cabin is situated on a lake we could walk around. "This would have been 5 stars, except that the water quality was very bad. It frankly tastes like dirt and when we filled the tub for our daughter, it was heavily tinted brown. If we had known that going in we would have brought some extra bottled drinking water. Other than that, it was an excellent experience and would stay here again (with several gallons of drinking water in tow). "

"Red Feather Lakes is such a beautiful area and our family really enjoyed staying in this home. We were here for the peak of the Perseid meteor shower and it was an amazing place to lay outside and stargaze. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Would definately recommend."

"We wanted a gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park and that lead us to Grand Lake. This property is up above the town with amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It is minutes from the West park Entrance. Even in late October, there are still a bunch of parts of the park that are still accessible, and no special passes required. The only reason I gave the cleaniness a middle score is it could use a deep cleaning (light fixtures in kitchen, light bulbs not all working), refrigerator door handles could be deep cleaned as well. Otherwise very nice place .. lots of walking (even in the snow) ... would highly recommend."
