"We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. "

"Mountain side oasis was absolutely wonderful. So quiet and peaceful. Felt like I was away from everything but only minutes to the parkway. Jerry has thought of many extra touches.. fan and sound machine in the bedroom. The hot tub was a plus. Definitely will be staying again when I come back home to visit my family. "Very quite and quaint home perfect for experiencing Mountain life, if you are not familiar with the area make sure you arrive when the sun is still up. It makes navigating those mountain roads a lot easier and ensures you don't run into too many wild animals. The host is very helpful and has excellent communication. The porch has a beautiful view out and into the mountains and plenty of outdoor seating areas to chill out. "
