We were a party of 6 adults and two children (6 and 8 years old). We had plenty of space both inside and outside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location was good. A few issues arose during our stay. - the hot tub was not on and it took several requests for help. We finally got it running ourselves but it needs repair. - the coffee pot was missing a filter basket insert - the upstairs shower had marble flooring and was dangerously slippery when wet. I told our contact we needed a mat - no response - a powerful rain/wind storm knocked out our power for 24 hours. We lost power around 7:00pm. We had to use cell phone flashlights to search cabinets/ drawers for flashlights. We finally found two with dead batteries and but later found more batteries. I called the MauiLife emergency numbers for help and left a message, never got a call back. - the pool overflowed several times - there was a roof leak into the hall by the upstairs bathroom, we put a pot to catch water

Absolutely perfect! The home is amazing and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Very responsive to any needs you have. Location is a few minute walk to the beach/restaurants etc. Pool and hot tub were an exceptional bonus-

My family rented the property for a week and enjoyed the house and pool. The location is perfect as you can easily walk to beach and all of the beach stores and restaurants.

Location! Location! Location!

Charming home! The home was close to everything! There was plenty of room. We could watch whales jumping in the distance. The only thing I would suggest to the home owner is sharper knives. That's the only complaint-We had everything else we needed. Would TOTALLY recommend for a family vaca. Thank you!!

Perfect Stay

We had a group of 7 friends and this place was absolutely perfect. We all fit comfortably and the pool was an amazing touch. The host was very responsive and checked in frequently. I would highly recommend this property.

Maui Charm

This house is pure Maui charm. It is an older house, but it is clean, well stocked, close to everything and has a pool. We have 7-people and an 18-month old baby with us. We absolutely loved the place. The owner, Lee, is very responsive if you have any questions or an issue. We did have a plumbing issue and notify the owner. Someone was there within an hour and fixed the issue. The house was a great place to use as our home base for this vacation. We would definitely rent it again!

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. The property is located in a great area. The pool and spa were great. The spa programs took a few minutes to figure out but were worth the effort. We really enjoyed the spacious common rooms upstairs and the screened porch. The basement bedrooms could use a little updating but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. We had an issue with the washing machine but were still able to use it with small loads. In all, we thought it had charm and good usable space for our family.

Perfect Family Home

What a wonderful home. Everything we needed for our family of 8 (6 adults and 2 children). We all loved the pool and hot tub; grandkids spent hours in there!! Perfect location. We walked to Whaler’s Village; close to Kaanapali and easy drive to Lahaina!! Bruce was easy to get ahold of if we had a question or needed something. Perfect family vacation.

Comfortable vacation home for family trip

This house was very comfortable for our family vacation including 3 couples and one toddler. It was the perfect size space for us. The house was clean and as pictured/advertised. The location was nice, about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and we had enjoyed using the boogie boards and other beach toys.

Maui VRBO

We really enjoyed the home we stayed in on Maui. It would have been a 5 star if they had finished the pool and spa in time for our family to use it. It was close to being finished. It was in a nice and quiet neighborhood and had fantastic ocean views. It had lots of furnished upstairs dining and viewing areas which were awesome. Once the pool and spa are ready we will request this VRBO again. Also, it's practically on a beautiful golf course. It was stocked with lots of in door games and out door toys. It was close to Whaler's Village, which was great!

Pros: Comfortable home with panoramic view of Lanai, some ocean and beautiful sunsets. Situated close to Kaanapali resort and Whaler's village. Owner responded promptly to questions and problems. Lots of beach toys for the children. Beds were very comfortable. Cons: advertised swimming pool was being redone and not functional. Owner did reimburse some of rental fee due to said absence. One good beach chair and others were pretty beat up. Cockroaches in ground level living areas.

Beautiful lanai view, short walk to beach

Property owner easy to work with. Good space for 5 adults and teenager. 10 minute walk to the beach and plenty of beach toys available at property. Enjoyed the view from the lanai. Beautiful area.

60th Birthday celebration with the kids and grand children

The location of this home is great and it’s a short walk to the beach. The house was comfortable and it will be fun to enjoy the pool when it’s finished. Bruce was a wonderful host answering any and all questions very quickly. Check in was a breeze.

Great location for family reunion

This house is well located just across the street from the Kanaapili resort area and only 10 minutes to Lahaina. It is a great place for a larger group, with two master suites (one of which is a two room suite) and a smaller bedroom. The kitchen is large enough for a group to cook dinners in comfort and there is both a large living room upstairs and a small one downstairs. We spent most of our time on the lanai, marveling at the beautiful view over to Molokai.

Lovely Stay

Great property and location! Bruce is very communicative and reliable. There was some confusion with the check in process that was quickly alleviated. The property will be even nicer once the pool is finished. Plenty of space and beach gear for our family of 7 adults and a 3 year old.

Maui vacation

We enjoyed all the convenience of home during our vacation in Maui. Everyone enjoyed their own space with lots of rooms and amenities. It is an older style home. I would recommend windows to be upgraded to make it more energy efficient. This place is recommended for families and groups larger than 5.

Wonderful Stay

The property was easy to find and as listed and I was happy there was no construction going on for the future spa and pool. The view and sunsets were spectacular, and the house very spacious. We spent most of our time away with our daughter's wedding and other events, and the house was always welcoming when we returned. Definitely recommend

Fantastic Property

This was an amazing experience for 2 families! We loved the full kitchen with all the appliances we needed. We spent most of our time out exploring but when we were there, we were on the lanai. Beds are super comfortable and everything was very clean. Short walk to the beach, great parking, lots of beach toys, very quiet. Loved every minute and Bruce is the best host we have encountered! Highly recommend this property.
