"This is a lovely old hotel and the decor reflects that - full of charm and character. However, the age of the hotel means that the ensuites are a later addition and so are very small and basic. "The accommodation was a very clean and comfortable independent cabin. In particular, the kitchen, bathroom, and washing machine were excellent. However, there was no view, and it took about 30 minutes by car to get to Tongariro National Park."
